FAQ

Common questions about Travo.

Short answers for organisations evaluating Travo for rural, remote, risky, or low-connectivity operations.

Is Travo a panic button or rescue app?

No. Travo is for field movement documentation, check-ins, incident reporting, escalation records, and audit evidence. It does not guarantee rescue or replace emergency services.

Can Travo work when internet is poor?

The Android app is designed around offline-first field use. Trip data, check-ins, incident reports, and support contacts can be stored locally and synced when connectivity returns.

Do supervisors use the mobile app?

For the MVP, field staff use the Android app. Supervisors, safety managers, and admins use the web dashboard to approve trips, view alerts, document responses, and export reports.

Does Travo track staff personal movement?

Travo is designed for approved work trips. Personal movement outside active work trips should not be tracked by default, and access to sensitive records should be role-based and auditable.

Can we start before Play Store approval?

Yes, trusted pilot testers can use the Android APK download while Play Store preparation continues. The APK is for controlled pilot testing, not broad public release.
